Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information

1. Turn the headlamp switch to the OFF position.
2. Close all doors.

Are all of the courtesy lamps OFF?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

Remove the BATT rundown protection relay.

Do the courtesy lamps turn OFF?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 4

1. Reinstall the BATT rundown protection relay.
2. Disconnect the RH I/P Fuse Block connector C1.

Do the courtesy lamps turn OFF?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 5

Repair a short to battery positive voltage on the courtesy lamps supply voltage. Refer to Wiring Repairs and to Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Replace the BATT rundown protection relay. Refer to Relay Replacement in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 8

Replace the RH instrument panel (I/P) fuse block. Refer to Instrument Panel Electrical Center or Junction Block Replacement - Right Side in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
