Important: The following must be completed before using the symptom tables.

Perform Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information, in order to verify that all of the following are true:

•	There are no DTCs set.

•	The control module(s) can communicate via the serial data link.

Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation .

•	Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the Power Sunroof system. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories in Wiring Systems.

•	Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .

•	Inspect the RETAINED ACCSRY PWR BRKR 30 A circuit breaker for obvious damage or conditions which could affect the operation of the Power Sunroof system.

Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:

•	Power Sunroof Inoperative

•	Power Sunroof Does Not Open to Express Position

•	Power Sunroof Does Not Close from Vent Position

•	Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Inoperative in Computer/Integrating Systems, if the power sunroof should operate for more than 10 minutes after the ignition has been turned OFF.
