Radio Setup - keywords entertainment install program U1C US8 US9

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

There are different radio setup procedures for the base and uplevel radios.

Setup instructions:

U1C Base Radio:

1. Install the radio into the vehicle.
2. Perform a VIN Relearn.
3. Set the clock.
4. Set the station presets.

Note: If swapping a base radio from another vehicle it will be necessary to perform a VIN relearn.

US8 and US9 Uplevel Radio:

1. Install the radio into the vehicle
2. SPS program radio.
3. Set the clock
4. Set the station presets.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
