Install a new clip on the air cleaner housing if the clip is missing or broken. | Do NOT replace the entire air cleaner housing assembly for a broken or missing clip. |
If a vehicle comes in for service that involves removal or replacement of the air cleaner housing, make sure that the housing clip is properly attached and fastened.
If this clip becomes damaged or is missing, a new replacement clip, P/N 19168954, is available. It is not necessary to replace the entire air cleaner housing if this clip is missing/damaged.
