This PI was superseded to update model years. Please discard PIC3695A.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

When replacing the SDM the following procedure must be followed after the new SDM is installed.

Recommendation/Instructions:
  1. SPS program the SDM.
  2. Turn the ignition key off and wait 1 minute.
  3. Turn the ignition key back on.
  4. Setup SDM Primary Key in BCM using the Tech 2
  5. Setup new SDM using the Tech 2.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
