Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 498530 Size: SH
  1. Position the rear window all the way down.

    2. Important: Pull rearward on the rear door frame applique to release clips from the door frame.

  2. Remove the rear door inner door frame applique to access the rear screws.

    3. Object Number: 308392 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip screws.

    4. Object Number: 498531 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear window outer belt sealing strip by pulling the sealing strip from the rear door pinch-weld flange.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 498531 Size: SH
  1. Position the rear door outer belt sealing strip to the rear door pinch-weld flange.

    2. Object Number: 498529 Size: SH
  2. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip to the pinch-weld flange, pressing into place until full seated.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 498530 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear door outer belt sealing strip screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the rear door frame applique, align the clips to the door frame and push in place.
