Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the right closeout insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
2. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.

Tip
Remove the heat stakes that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC module assembly using a small chisel.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)
