Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Assembly

Procedure

1. Note and mark the location of the sill trim plate with masking tape prior to removal.
2. Use a suitable heat gun and a plastic tool to remove the sill plate.
3. Clean around the area of the lower door frame with a 50/50 of mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water by volume on a dampened lint free cloth.
4. Dry wipe the area.
5. When reinstalling the sill trim plate , spray a 50/50 soap mix on the door frame to assist in the reinstall.
6. Peel the sill trim plate adhesive tape completely.
7. Install the sill trim plate to the door frame first, pressing it in place and removing any air bubbles.
8. Verify that the sill trim plate is air bubble free.
