Remove the upper intake manifold sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement.

Power Steering Reservoir Inlet Hose Bolt

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
55 N·m (41 lb ft)

Power Steering Reservoir Inlet Hose

Disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the power steering cooler hose.
Disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the power steering pump.
Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.

Tip

•	Before repairs, remove as much power steering fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir as possible.

•	Before repairs, place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.

•	After repairs, clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
