Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .

Important: Leave the left temperature actuator attached to the air inlet assembly.

2. Remove the air inlet assembly. Refer to Air Inlet Assembly Replacement .

Tip
Remove the heat stakes that secure the mode valve assembly to the HVAC module assembly upper case using a small chisel.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)
