The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Changing the radio display default from frequency to time.
Recommendation/Instructions:
The radio defaults to frequency and when you want to see what time it is you select clock, if you do not touch anything after that the display will go back to frequency. So the default on the radio is to show the frequency. If you want the clock to display all the time then you press and hold the "i" button for about 5 seconds and clock would then be the default. In order to go back to have the frequency to be the default, then you do the same thing again, which is pressing and holding the i button for 5 seconds.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
