Information on Adhesive Residue on Dash Pad Trim and/or Wood Grain Trim

This bulletin is being updated to add the 2008 model year. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-08-110-007 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).

During the PDI procedure, the protective tape on the dash is removed. However, some customers may comment that some adhesive residue still remains on the dash pad, the wood grain trim or between the two.

Use GM Tar and Road Oil Remover, P/N 1050172 (in Canada, use P/N 992856) to remove any remaining adhesive. Then wipe down the area with window cleaner.

Notice: Use of any other cleaner, other than the part number listed above, will damage the dash and/or the wood grain trim.
