Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1556020 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube from the air inlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
  3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.
  4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the throttle body.
  5. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
  6. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the MAF/IAT sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1556020 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct from the MAF/IAT sensor.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body.
  4. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the PCV tube to the air inlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
  6. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
