Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 631009 Size: SH
  2. Remove the torque converter cover bolts.
  3. Remove the torque converter covers.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 631009 Size: SH

    Note: If equipped with 5.3L V8-The tab must be on the engine side of the engine oil pan bolt.

  1. Install the torque converter covers.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the torque converter cover bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
