Remove the cable by pulling on the end of each side.

Procedure

Follow the steps below to reinstall the seat adjuster horizontal pinion gear shaft

  1. Ensure both inboard and outboard tracks fully rearward position.
  2. Reinstall seat adjuster horizontal pinion gear shaft cable
  3. activated the motor ensure the adjuster is operating normal.
