For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the surge tank cap after the engine cools.
- Check the coolant level.
- Install a suitable cooling system pressure tester (1) to the surge tank filler neck using the adapter (2) and pressurize 110-120 kPa (16.0-17.4 psi).
- Inspect the coolant leaks on the hoses and connections during 2 minutes.
- If the leak is inspected, replace the parts or repair the connections.
