Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1220571 Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate and suitably support it.
  2. Remove the screws (1).
  3. Disconnect the cable (3).
  4. Remove the liftgate lock striker (2).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Connect the cable (3).
  2. Install the liftgate lock striker (2) with the screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the liftgate lock striker screws (2) to 22 N·m (16 ft lb).
