Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the clutch cable adjusting nut.
  2. Disconnect the clutch cable from the wire clip.
  3. Pull and remove the clutch cable from the transaxle mount hole.

    4. Object Number: 1223277 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the clutch cable from the pedal by pulling upward and disconnecting the cable from the pedal hook (1).

    5. Object Number: 1223284 Size: SH
  5. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  6. Remove the clutch cable nuts (2).
  7. Remove the cable grommet (1).
  8. Remove the clutch cable from the pedal (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1223171 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch cable.
  2. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .

    3. Caution: Refer to Batteries Produce Explosive Gases Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Connect the clutch cable to the pedal.
  4. Connect the clutch cable to the transaxle.
  5. Adjust the clutch cable. Refer to Clutch Assembly Adjustment .
