Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1223396 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
  4. Remove the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement.
  5. Pry off the front rocker trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Pry off the rear rocker trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Pry off the lower B-pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the parking brake cable cover.
  9. Remove the clips under the front seats.

  10. Remove the floor carpet (1).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Replacement Carpet Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the floor carpet.
  2. Install the clips.
  3. Install the parking brake cable cover.
  4. Install the lower B-pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the rear rocker trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  6. Install the front rocker trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Install the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
  9. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable.
