Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1224784 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the hood latch screws (3).
  3. Disconnect the hood latch release cable (2).
  4. Remove the hood latch (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1224784 Size: SH
  1. Connect the hood latch release cable (2) to the latch (1).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the hood latch (1) with the screws (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the hood latch screws to 8.5 N·m (75 lb in).

  3. Close the hood.
