Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1222872 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove the recliner knob screw (2).
  4. Remove the recliner knob (1) from the front seat .

  5. Remove the recliner cover screws (1).
  6. Remove the recliner cover (2) from the front seat .

    7. Object Number: 1222876 Size: SH

  7. Remove the bolts on the front seat cushion (3).

  8. Remove the front seat back cover hog rings.
  9. Remove the front seat back cover (2).
  10. Remove the bolts on the front seat back (1).
  11. Remove the recliner from the front seat.

    12. Object Number: 1222880 Size: SH
  12. Remove the seat back bolt (2) from the seat cushion.
  13. Remove the seat back assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1222883 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat back assembly with the bolt.
  2. Install the recliner with the bolts.
  3. Install the seat back cover with the hog rings.

    4. Object Number: 1222884 Size: SH
  4. Install the recliner knob and the cover with the screws.
  5. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
