Removal Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Brake Caliper Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1224699 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the brake pad pin bolt (1).

    3. Object Number: 1224703 Size: SH
  3. Lift the cylinder assembly (1).

    4. Caution: Refer to Brake Dust Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Remove the brake pads.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1224705 Size: SH
  1. Install the brake pads and the cylinder assembly with the pin bolt (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the pin bolt to 26 N·m (19 lb ft).

  2. Install the front wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
