The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
The current published Service Parts Lists for the new variable vane turbocharger does not include all the available service replacement part numbers. The variable vane turbocharger is used on all 2004i 7.8L - 6Hk1 Diesel Engines Options LG4 and CTF built after January 1, 2004. This will be corrected on future Service Parts Lists update. In the interim, the following part numbers and description identify those service replacement parts that were omitted from the current Service Parts Lists but are available for the variable vane turbocharger.
