When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Condition/Concern:

02 03 Chevrolet GMC 6.6L (LB7) low oil light on the DIC during engine start.

Recommendation/Instructions:

If you have determined this vehicle has the concern of an engine low oil light on the DIC during an engine start and you have completed the published diagnostics with no resolution, check for a possible circuit concern between the oil level sensor and PCM/ground. If this concern of an engine low oil light only happens while driving, engineering is in the process of investigating this concern. Be sure to mark this case pending as well enter the P.I. number in the non keyword qualifier area.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
