Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement for the ZF S6-650 transmission or to Transmission Replacement for the Medium Duty transmission.
  3. Remove the clutch housing. Refer to Clutch Housing Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 826842 Size: SH
  4. Loosen the clutch fork clamp bolts.
  5. Remove the clutch fork rod.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 826842 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch fork and rod into the clutch housing.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the clutch fork bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the clutch fork bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb in).

  3. Install the clutch fork over the release bearing.
  4. Install the clutch housing . Refer to Clutch Housing Replacement .
  5. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement for the ZF S6-650 transmission or to Transmission Replacement for the Medium Duty transmission.
  6. Lower the vehicle, if required.
