Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2005 🢒 Kodiak C-Series Motorhome (Cutaway) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 6.6L (LLY) 🢒 Turbocharger Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 740438 Size: SH
  2. Remove the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  3. Disconnect the boost sensor electrical connector (2).
  4. Remove the boost sensor bracket nut (4).
  5. Lift the coolant tube (1) off of the stud and move it out of the way.

  6. Remove the boost sensor (2) with bracket (1).
  7. Remove the sensor from the bracket.
  8. Inspect the boost sensor seal for damage, replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 740442 Size: SH
  1. Position the sensor (2) onto the bracket (1).
  2. Install the bracket (with sensor) over the stud.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Position the coolant tube (1) over the stud.
  4. Install the boost sensor bracket nut (4).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Connect the boost sensor electrical connector (2).
  6. Install the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  7. Install the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Replacement .
