Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines from the retaining clip.

    2. Object Number: 816619 Size: SH
  2. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler line retaining nuts.
  3. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

    4. Object Number: 816616 Size: SH
  4. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler retaining nuts.
  5. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 816616 Size: SH
  1. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  3. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines.
  4. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler line retaining nuts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

  5. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines into the retaining clip.

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  2. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines from the retaining clip.

    3. Object Number: 816619 Size: SH
  3. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler line retaining nuts.
  4. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

    5. Object Number: 816616 Size: SH
  5. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler retaining nuts.
  6. Remove the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 816616 Size: SH
  1. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler line retaining nuts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

  5. Install the auxiliary transmission oil cooler lines into the retaining clip.
  6. Install the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.
