Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 227937 Size: SH
  1. Block the wheels.
  2. Drain the air reservoirs. Refer to Air Brake Reservoir Draining .
  3. Remove the safety valve.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 227937 Size: SH
  1. Install the safety valve.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the safety valve to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  2. Perform the air leakage test.
  3. Perform the operational test. Refer to Primary Supply Reservoir Safety Valve Operational Check .
  4. Remove the wheel blocks.
