1. Turn signals are inoperative 2. Turn signals are always ON 3. Left front turn signal is inoperative 4. Right front turn signal is inoperative 5. Left rear turn signal is inoperative 6. Right rear turn signal is inoperative 7. Hazard flashers are inoperative |
Hazard flashers are activated by pressing the hazard switch located in the turn signal multifunction switch. When the hazard switch is pressed, B+ is applied through the hazard switch, the turn signal hazard flasher module, then back to the turn signal multifunction switch. This voltage is then distributed through the turn signal multifunction switch to all four turn signal supply voltage circuits illuminating all four turn signals and both instrument panel cluster (IPC) turn signal indicators.

⇒ | If the system does not perform as specified, refer to Turn Signal Lamps and/or Indicators Malfunction . |
⇒ | If hazard lamps continuously flash, replace the turn signal multifunction switch. |
⇒ | If the hazard flashers do not turn ON as specified, refer to Circuit/System Testing. |
⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the control circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, test or place the turn signal multifunction switch. |
⇒ | If less than the specified range, replace the turn signal multifunction switch. |
⇒ | If greater than the specified range, replace the turn signal multifunction switch. |
