For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the negative battery cables. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Attach a hose to the drain tube on the fuel filter.
- Place the other end of the hose into an approved container.
- Drain as much fuel as possible from the fuel filter housing.
- Tighten the water drain on the fuel filter.
