Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 828454 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the run water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  3. Remove the rear run channel from the door. Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement.
  4. Remove the screws from the door lock (1).
  5. Remove the lock rods from the lock.
  6. Remove the electrical connectors from the lock.
  7. Remove the lock rod guide from the door lock.
  8. Remove the bolts that retain the lock to the door.
  9. Remove the lock from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 828454 Size: SH
  1. Install the lock to the door.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the screws that retain the lock to the door.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten in sequence the retaining screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the lock rod guide to the door lock.
  4. Install the electrical connectors to the lock.
  5. Install the lock rods to the lock.
  6. Install the rear run channel to the door. Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement.
  7. Install the rear water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  8. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
