Front Wheel Bearing Lubricant Cap Replacement Press-On

1. Remove the hubcap with a thin flat blade tool.
2. Gently pry out the cap all the way around until cap comes off.

1. Install the hub cap. Align the hub cap properly.
2. Gently tap the cap around the edges until it is flush with the hub.

Front Wheel Bearing Lubricant Cap Replacement Bolt-On

1. Place a suitable container under the hub cap in order to catch the oil.
2. Remove the bolts and the washers.
3. Remove the hub cap and the gasket. Do not allow gasket material to fall into the hub.

1. Install a new gasket and the hub cap onto the hub. Align the gasket properly.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the bolts and washers.

Tighten
Tighten bolts evenly to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

3. Install new lubricant. Refer to Adding Lubricant to Hub Caps.
