Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  3. Lower the window.
  4. Remove the inner window sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement.
  5. Remove the outer window sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement.
  6. Remove the bolt that retains the rear run channel to the door.
  7. Remove the run channel from the door. Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement.

  8. Object Number: 828438  Size: SH
  9. Raise the rear door window approximately half way in order to access the nuts that retain the front door window to the sash. Access the nuts through the holes in the rear door module.
  10. Remove the nuts that retain the rear door window to the sash.
  11. Remove the rear door window from the door from the outer side of the vehicle.
  12. Remove the rear door window from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 828438  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear door window to the door from the outside of the vehicle.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the nuts in order to retain the rear door window to the sash.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

    Note: Before raising or lowering the rear door window, ensure that the rear door window is properly aligned in the rear run channel.

  5. Lower the front run window.
  6. Install the front run. Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement.
  7. Install the bolt in order to retain the front run channel to the door.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 11 N·m (97 lb in).

  9. Install the inner window sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement.
  10. Install the outer window sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement.
  11. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  12. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
