Rear Door Trim Plate Replacement Manual Windows

Tools Required

J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 5087 Size: SH
  1. Remove the window regulator handle using the J 9886-01 .

    2. Object Number: 823468 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws that retain the door trim plate to the door panel.
  3. Pull the bottom of the door trim plate out in order to remove the retainers on the door trim plate from the door trim panel.
  4. Remove the door trim plate from the slots in the door trim panel.
  5. Remove the door trim plate from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 823468 Size: SH
  1. Install the door trim plate to the door trim panel.
  2. Install the door trim plate to the slots in the door trim panel. Align the retainers on the door trim plate to the slots in the door trim panel. Press the trim plate into position.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws that retain the door trim plate to the door trim panel.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.9 N·m  (17 lb in).

  4. Install the window regulator handle.

Rear Door Trim Plate Replacement Power Windows

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the inside door handle bezel. Refer to Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 823468 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws that retain the door trim plate to the door panel.
  3. Pull the bottom of the door trim plate out in order to remove the retainers on the door trim plate from the door trim panel.
  4. Remove the door trim plate from the slots in the door trim panel.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the switches on the door trim plate.
  6. Remove the door trim plate from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 823468 Size: SH
  1. Install the door trim plate to the door trim panel.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the switches on the door trim plate.
  3. Install the door trim plate to the slots in the door trim panel. Press the trim plate into position.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the screws that retain the door trim plate to the door trim panel.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw that retains the door trim plate to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

  5. Install the inside door handle bezel. Refer to Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement .
