Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 803795 Size: SH

    Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.

  1. Remove the rearview mirror glass. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement - Upper .

    2. Object Number: 803798 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws that hold the motor to the housing.

    3. Object Number: 816476 Size: SH
  3. Remove the motor.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 816476 Size: SH
  1. Install the electrical connector to the motor.
  2. Install the motor.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the screws to the rearview mirror housing.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  4. Install the mirror to the motor.
