Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1413463 Size: SH
  1. Remove the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Replacement.
  2. Remove the exhaust right pipe bolts/nuts in the proper sequence.

    3. Object Number: 1413464 Size: SH
  3. Remove the right exhaust pipe, bracket and gaskets.
  4. Discard the gaskets.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1413464 Size: SH
  1. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the turbocharger. Align the tab on the gasket at the turbocharger to face inward.
  2. Loosely install the bolts.
  3. Position the right exhaust pipe with a NEW gasket to the exhaust manifold. Align the tab on the gasket to face outward.
  4. Loosely install the bolts.

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1413463 Size: SH
  5. Tighten the right exhaust pipe bolts/nuts in the proper sequence.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 53 N·m (39 lb ft).

  6. Install the turbocharger exhaust pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe Replacement.
