Removal Procedure
- Install a breaker bar to the tensioner.
- Rotate the belt tensioner counterclockwise to relieve tension on the belt.
- Remove the belt from the pulleys and the tensioner.
- Slowly release tension on the belt tensioner.
- Remove the breaker bar from the tensioner.
- Clean and inspect the surfaces of all the pulleys.
Installation Procedure
- Route the belt around all the pulleys except the tensioner.
- Install the breaker bar to the belt tensioner.
- Rotate the tensioner clockwise to place tension on the tensioner.
- Route the belt around the tensioner.
- Slowly release the tension on the tensioner.
- Remove the breaker bar from the tensioner.
- Inspect the belt for proper installation and alignment.
