  1. If removed, install the new oil filter bypass valves. Stake the tangs on the oil filter bypass valves.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil filter fitting. Tighten the oil filter fitting to 66 N·m (49 lb ft).
