Removal Procedure
- Lower the window.
- Tilt the top of the sealing strip away from the vehicle in an outboard direction.
- Gently pull the sealing strip away from the pinch-weld flange.
Installation Procedure
- Spray the inside of the sealing strip with a water and soap solution per GM P/N 9985662, or equivalent.
- Install the sealing strip to the pinch-weld flange by tilting the top edge of the sealing strip slightly outboard to ensure the pinch-weld flange correctly enters the retention clips.
- Push down on the sealing strip until the clips are fully seated.
- Raise the window.
