Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2003 🢒 Kodiak C-Series (Crew) C4/C5 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 6.6L 🢒 Intake Manifold Tube Installation

  1. Install the intake manifold tube gasket.
  2. Install the intake manifold tube.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts in sequence.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the intake air heater with gasket.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the intake heater to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the turbocharger boost sensor to the intake manifold tube.
  6. Install the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
