Subject: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER LIGHTS REMAIN ON OR BATTERY RUNS DOWN

Model and Year: 1990-91 LUMINA

Condition:

---------- The backlighting for the radio and the IP cluster may remain on after the delayed lighting feature times out. This may also cause the battery to run down overnight.

Cause:

------- An internal short in the radio causes a feedback to the lighting circuits.

Correction:

----------- Remove the radio and send to a Delco Repair Center. Insure that the condition is clearly noted on the repair tag.
