THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES DEALER SERVICE BULLETIN NO. 90-54-10, DATED FEBRUARY 1990. A NEW PART NUMBER HAS BEEN PROVIDED. ALL COPIES OF 90-54-10 SHOULD BE DISCARDED.

Owners of some 1990 W-cars (Coupe and Sedan) may comment on a white powder type substance on the rubber seal of the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL). The substance is a bleed-out of sulphur used in the processing of the rubber. Replace the shield and seal assembly with a new one. New part numbers are listed below:

IMPORTANT: When installing new shield and seal assembly be sure rubber seal does not contact back glass grid defogger lines.
