WHEEL ALIGNMENT REAR TOE ADJUSTMENT

Model and Year: 1990 W CAR

TO: ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS

The following rear toe adjustment procedure replaces the current procedure found on page 3A-8 of the 1990 Chevrolet Lumina Service Manual. Use this procedure if the vehicle is not equipped with adjusting cams. (REFER TO ILLUSTRATION.)

Tool Required: J 38118 Rear Toe Adjusting Tool

NOTICE: SEE NOTICE ON PAGE 3A-1 OF THE SERVICE MANUAL.

IMPORTANT:

Perform left and right rear toe adjustment procedures in the same manner.

1. Install J 38118

Hand tighten turnbuckle portion of J 38118 in direction of adjustment.

2. Loosen inboard nut of rear rod.

3. Rotate turnbuckle portion of J 38118 to reach correct toe specification, refer to "Specifications".

4. Remove J 38118.
