Some customers may comment about the decklid contact to the backwindow reveal molding during decklid opening. This concern may be addressed by using the following procedure.
1: Check the decklid for tightness at the front corners to backwindow reveal molding surface and rear corners for flushness at the rear of quarter panel surface.
2: If the decklid is tight at front and flush at rear corner; adjust only that side of decklid rearward appoximately 2 to 3mm.
Follow Service Manual section 10-7
3: If decklid appearance due to alignment is not acceptable after adjustment for reveal molding clearance, call Chevrolet Technical Assistance for additional information.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
