Owners of some 1990 W-car sedans may comment on a white powder type substance on the rubber seal of the rear door vent glass rubber retainer. To eliminate this bleed-out, clean the outside surface with Fantastic or equivalent cleaner and a small scrub brush. After rubber seal is completely dry and clean, dress rubber seal with a rubber/vinyl sealer, such as Armorall protectant available from GMSPO, part numbers,

Apply dressing following manufacturers instructions.
