SEDAN DECKLID FIT SERVICE ADJUSTMENT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 CHEVROLET LUMINA

Some customers may comment about the decklid contact to the backwindow reveal moulding during decklid opening. This concern may be addressed by using the following procedure.

1: Check the decklid for tightness at the front corners to backwindow reveal moulding surface and rear corners for flushness at the rear of quarter panel surface.

2: If the decklid is tight at front and flush at rear corner; adjust only that side of decklid rearward approximately 2 to 3mm.
