1990 CHEVROLET LUMINA
The following rear toe adjustment procedure replaces the current procedure found on page 3A-6 of the 1990 Chevrolet Lumina Service Manual. Use this procedure if the vehicle is not equipped with adjusting cams.
Tool Required: J 38118 Rear Toe Adjusting Tool
1. Install J 38118
Hand tighten turnbuckle portion of J 38118 in directio of adjustment.
2. Loosen inboard nut of rear rod.
3. Rotate turnbuckle portion of J 38118 to reach correct toe specification, refer to "Specifications".
4. Tighten inboard nut of rear rod to 190 N.m. (140 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove J 38118.
