ABS III CONTROLER EXCHANGE PRO GRAM

SUBJECT: ABS CONTROLLER EXCHANGE PROGRAM

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989-1991 'W' AND 1991 'N' MODELS

The ABS Controller used in 1989-91 'W' and 1991 'N' cars are to be serviced by exchange with one of the AC Delco Service Centres listed at the end of this Bulletin. The Centres are authorized to pre-exchange by sending an exchange unit to the Dealership in advance of receiving a problem unit for repair.

Locating Exchange Parts

If your local AC Delco repair facility does not have a unit available for pre-exchange, call other shops listed in the bulletin or call Technical Assistance (TAC) and we will locate one for you.

Timely Return of Units For Repair

Return of units for repair in cases of pre-exchange is critical to the success of the exchange programs. When Dealerships don't immediately return cores, it results in local parts shortages. if Dealerships are delinquent on core returns, AC Delco will contact TAC for action by Warranty Administration.
