THIS SUPPLEMENT REVISES PRODUCT SAFETY CAMPAIGN BULLETIN 93C08 ISSUED MARCH, 1993. 250 ADDITIONAL VEHICLES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE POPULATION AND WILL APPEAR ON ALL CAMPAIGN RELATED ACTIVITIES (i.e. VISS, ETC.). THESE VEHICLES ARE IN ADDITION TO THE 23 VEHICLES PREVIOUSLY ADDED IN CAMPAIGN SUPPLEMENT 93C08(a) WHICH WAS DISTRIBUTED TO INVOLVED DEALERS ONLY.
ALSO, AN INSPECTION PROCEDURE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE SERVICE PROCEDURE AND AN INSPECTION LABOR OPERATION HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE CLAIM INFORMATION SECTION.
ALL THREE REVISED SECTIONS ARE PRINTED BELOW. NEW INFORMATION IS SHOWN UNDERLINED.

SERVICE PROCEDURE (Inspection Procedure Added)
THIS PROCEDURE IS TO BE PERFORMED ON BOTH FRONT SEATS.
1. Remove front seat trim finish panel (see Chevrolet Lumina Service Manual -------------------------------------------------------------------------- #1 (ST-379-93-1). section 10, page 10-10-13. -------------------------------------------- 2. Visually inspect recliner assembly (see Figure 1. ------------------------------------------------- 3. If recliner is an incremental manual recliner it must be replaced. Skip to -------------------------------------------------------------------------- step 4. ------ If recliner is an infinite manual recliner no replacement is required. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Skip to step 6. -------------- 4. Remove old manual seat back recliner mechanism following procedure in Chevrolet Lumina Service Manual #1 (ST-379-93-1), Section 10, Page 10-10-17. 5. Install new manual seat back recliner mechanism following procedure in Chevrolet Lumina Service Manual #1 (ST-379-93-1), Section 10, Page 10-10-18. 6. Reinstall front seat trim finish panel. -------------------------------------- 7. Install Campaign Identification Label.
