THIS BULLETIN IS BEING ISSUED TO CORRECT THE DIAGNOSTIC AIDS SECTION OF THE FACING PAGE FOR DTC P0134-HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (HO2S) ERROR.
THE FAULTY HO2S HEATER OR HEATER CIRCUIT IS INCORRECT.
WITH THE IGNITION "ON" THE TECH 1 DISPLAYS AN HO2S VOLTAGE AT BIAS (APPROXIMATELY 450MV). THE TECH 1 DISPLAY WILL NOT CHANGE FROM THE BIAS VOLTAGE READING. WITH THE IGNITION "ON", ENGINE RUNNING, THE VEHICLE WILL REMAIN IN OPEN LOOP UNTIL THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET:
* ENGINE RUN TIME IS GREATER THAN 40 SECONDS. * ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 43 DEGREES C (110 DEGREES F). * THROTTLE ANGLE IS GREATER THAN 3%.
